The forum went offline again! We haven’t received any news from the forum5 authorities yet and we also don’t know if this problem is just temporary. Some users have already complained. This problem has been there since last night. Stay put for more updates.

Post buttons are working

The post buttons of the original forum are working. Previously, I couldn’t read private messages- but I can now The forum is almost back to business, at least it’s working good enough for us to rendezvous there. See ya in http://www.teamotaku.forum5.com/ !

Forum is partially back

The forum is partially back. You can at least view the boards now, even though you’ll get an error when you try to make a new post or topic(or even check private messages). Never mind that, it’s proof enough that forum5 is working on the issue and everything will be solved before you can even say, “wtf?”.

Check regularly to see when the forum will be fully back.

ok seems like the forum will be back any second/minute/hour/day now. This is proved by the new error message in the forum’s page(http://teamotaku.forum5.com/index.php) and the message on the forum5 website:

Forums are coming back every minute. if your forum is not back yet or you see any error then please be patient as it will be live soon

The “Critical phpbb error” means that work is going on our forum’s database. They’re fixing hard-drive by hard-drive and the hard-drive on which our forum is installed is currently undergoing operation. Lets hope for the best!

Forum still offline

It’s past 28th April and the forum still isn’t back. Well, the forum5 website looks new and they’re claiming to be working on the issue and that the forums will be back soon. So what we can do is keep our fingers crossed……

Here’s a message we got from the iforumer support forum-

Hi,
I am writing you from my mobile so cant type long. All server issues
will be fixed soon and we have got total data back from eight disks so
all forums will be back up soon
regards

So that means that all the posts of our old forum have been recovered and we’ll get it back before or after 28th April. Applaud please ^^

good news guys! The iforumer website, as a whole, has gone offline! I feel pretty sorry for them, I know they’re pitying themselves too.

Ok here’s an optimistic news. I visited the forum5 website the other day and there was a notice saying, “Service will resume on 28th April”. I hope that by service they’re actually indicating our poor forums. Now that we have our deadline, sit tight everyone. If we see that the 28th April thing was another one of their dumb jokes, we’ll launch the site and start afresh with the forum.

A possible countdown

well guys, I guess we have our countdown here. We’ll wait for two more weeks to buy our database from iforumer(if they ever solve the problem). If we see that the database is lost forever, we’ll launch our site and begin all the activities that we’ve been planning to start for a long time.

Alternate forum

so we’ve installed an alternate forum for the communication of our members(since I’m pretty sure none of the members read this blog. The Bangali nation doesn’t know how to credit good things *sob* *sob*). It has been made similar to the original forum to ease the life of members and this forum will stay online as long as the original forum stays offline. Go join already! I’m murdering flies here >_<
